Geoff Healey sometime in 1987 Geoff answered an agent’s ad in the Melbourne Age newspaper ‘seeking piano player/vocalists’ and proceeded to record a four-song demo in someone’s home studio and front up for an interview. Shortly after, the agent miraculously offered him a four-week residency on Lindeman Island on the Great Barrier Reef as the 6pm-9pm piano entertainer. And off he went.In 1990 he formed 'Miasma' with fellow musicians Annie and Danny Moore and a year later the group began a six-month tour of Europe, playing venues in England, Scotland, Belgium and Spain before splitting in July 1992. Armed with new experiences and a fresh supply of both original and cover songs - Geoff went went back to solo performing.Geoff has played in 11 countries and earned a reputation as one of Europe's most versatile piano entertainers, with a repertoire of more than 1000 songs covering a broad range of styles (Which is better than only being able to play about 30 ballads)...
