Edel Curtain originlly from Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, is a full time musician currently living in Cork city. At a very young age Edel started to study piano and it was here that a love and passion of music was instilled in her.Primarily a classically trained musician, Curtin has had many successes over the years, winning various prizes and competetions including a scholarship to the London College of Music After many years of training and study, Edel has veered somewhat from the classical genre and currently enjoys a full time career working with many talented singers, songwriters, musicians and also as a solo performer. Her repretoire is vast and varied ranging from classical to rock, pop or more traditional styles. Edel also composes some of her own material and often also works as a session musician for recordings.
