Brendan Lewes, influenced by the folk songbooks of old, uses a mix of mouth harp melodies with guitar and vocal loops to create his own rhythm section, providing a distinctive mix of acoustic timbres, harmonica wails and vocal howls strongly grounded in a simple tune.
His second EP – The Sleepy Troubadour – follows on from Weather The Storm by bringing his individual guitar style and mixing it at points with his loop pedal to add depth to his songs.
The Sleepy Troubadour EP developed over a year of gigging, playing everywhere from folk club floor spots to German smoke houses. It brings a clear development in individual songwriting from his first EP, but stays true to his folky style.
Performing anywhere that will have him throughout England and North Germany, Brendan is always on the move, so is a must see if you get the chance.
